Love Is In The Air...February Valentine's Gift Bags!

Hello Friends...

Welcome to my little corner of the blogosphere!! I hear love is in the air! There are hearts and teddy bears in all the stores, and everyone is showing true kindness and love this month! It must mean that Valentine's Day is just around the corner!

This is the PURRRFECT time for the "Pride" of Just A Few Friends to gather again for another bloggity hop!

Welcome and Happy Valentines to everyone! Thank you so
very much for visiting our February Valentine Gift Bag Blog
Hop! Just a Few Friends have been very busy steadily
working on
creating and altering gift bags! We were challenged to create
our project using the following colors...
RED, PINK, BROWN & BLACK!
We could use them all, only one, or a combination of
them all. What a wonderful color pallet to work with right?

This is a very special Hop for all of us, because we have a brand new cub in the den!
Welcome Carrie!! We are
so happy to have you in our "Pride"!
This is Carrie's first hop and I would love it if you all would
show her some BIG love, and approach her den with TLC.

Now let's get to the fun stuff!
First I created a special bag for my Boo! He is a true guys guy
so I went with blacks and the variations of that! Here is a
picture of my "Forever Love" Gift Bag

Tons of TLC went into making this bag...and a lot of stickles
hehe! I created a plain black bag and then used silver eyelets
to hold my ribbon in place. I then used my cutter bee scissors
and fussy cut a beautiful rose and some gorgeous swirls from
the "Immortal" stack by DCWV. I stickled EVERYTHING!
Lots of hours of stickling lol! My finishing touch was
adding some corner border stickers from elizabeth craft
designs and some gorgeous rose and pearl trim for a
beautiful finishing touch. Whala...a beautiful bag for my
Valentine!

...and as you all know, once I get started there's no stopping me! So I created another really cutsie cute gift bag! This time I decided that I wanted to go TALL!!
Every single thing that I used on this bag was scraps and extras that were in my Valentine stash. Old papers and embellies, along with a little creativeness and here is the sweetest little bag for my soon to be daughter in law! She loves birds and butterflies and I think it will be purrrfect for her Valentine gift.

If you arrived at my blog by chance, please go back to Elsa's blog first at http://www.justafewdesigns.blogspot.com and see what she created to inspire you! If you've been hopping along with all of us...GRRRRRRRRRREAT...then pounce on over to
RJ's den at http://thriftycrafterdude.blogspot.com/I'm certain he has a wonderful creation to share with you all.

Before I go...I thought I would share a few more Valentine creations I have been working on with all of you.
First here are my Artsy Fartsy Altered Tickets
...and here is a sweet little Tussie Mussie treat holder that I made out of a toilet paper roll...
I also have been very busy creating stickpins! I made this stickpin holder card/stickpins for a very special lady that I am swapping with. Shannon I hope you like this little token of my love and friendship.
Finally I have also been working on some handmade paper flowers of different varieties...here is a picture of some that I finished...
If there is anything that you have seen that inspires you, and you have any questions on how I created it or what I used to create it...please feel free to ask me! I also have a YouTube channel where you can find videos on most everything I create. Here is a link to my channel:

We all have FAN PAGES over on Facebook too! Just click on the link below:
it will take you the PRIDES page where you will find everyone's FAN PAGE links so that you can come and LIKES US!!! We will be posting not only PRIDE related hops but also other projects we created hoping to inspire you to create!

I bet I have taken up enough of your time and your coffee cup is in desperate need of being refilled.  But, before I go I want to wish you a very Happy Valentine's Day! And even though not everyone has a special Sweetheart, we all have the ability to share our love and kindness with others. Be it the homeless man on the corner or an elderly person in a care center...maybe a tiny baby in the NICU...take some time this month and show some genuine kindness to someone that may really need to feel a little LOVE. A little goes a very long way. You just never know when your small act of kindness with change someone's life forever.

Until next time friend...
Be blessed...
Tootles.
