Limited Edition Winter...But First A Dinosaur Adventure!

Hi Friends...
I bet you all have been donning your winter clothes and slipping on your coats, scarves, and mittens, not to mention those adorable beanies with the big pom pom on top?
I on the other hand have been out on the Great Plains Safari on a Dinosaur adventure with my Grandson Jericho and his best buddy Blake. I love that Jericho is in school now and has had the opportunity to make new friends. It's so wonderful to see his eyes light up as he talks about all the buddies he has made at school. Saturday was his buddy Blake's Birthday. Jericho asked if I would please make one of my special Bestie cards for his Bestie Blake...he knows I'm busy working on my December Daily, but who could resist that precious little face, and his love of all things I create. So well he slept last Friday night I went on a Dinosaur Adventure. I created a cute little card for Blake using the "bestie boys" image. I took a couple pictures to share with y'all here, I wish I could share a picture of the boys but because of reasons of protection I won't post pictures of the boys. I will share with you the adorable Bestie Jericho with his Bestie Blake though...

Jericho loved the card and so did Blake and his family!!

Now to share the reason I love this season...Winter!!! I love winter...I love snow...I love going to my Daddy's cabin in the mountains. Fresh air, water that taste like heaven and of course SNOW! As I was putting this card together I couldn't help but see myself in this card happily standing on my Daddy's land enjoying a Limited Edition Winter. I used the image "3D Reindeer Antlers"  to help make this card look so festive and wonderful.
Here is my Beautiful Bestie Limited Edition Winter Card...

I hope you have enjoyed reading my blog and viewing my paper treasures as much as I enjoyed creating them.
I'll get back to my December Daily...See you all on the 20th for another look at this wonderful season we are so blessed to call ours. Remember to give to your local food back or Salvation Army. For giving is so much sweeter than receiving.
Our true rewards are in heaven.
Until next time...
Be blessed...

I Stand With You Paris!

Hello Friends...
I come to you with a heavy heart.
Terrorism and violence of any kind brings me to a state of panic and anxiety every single time I have to live it or see it happen to my fellow man.
I have suffered with on anxiety attack after another since Paris was attacked just days ago.
The only thing that can sooth my pain and hurt is to use my heart and my hands to create beauty that maybe will reach out and touch at least one heart.
Since I have began creating for Sherri Baldy, the Besties YouTube design team, and Scrapbook Stamp Society,  I have noticed the camaraderie of talented women from all over the world. I think it is AMAZING how one persons talent spread all across the world to touch so many of us, and bring us joy. I am honored to be among the blessed ones that know Sherri Baldy and have the opportunity to create with her images, and in turn share our creations with the world wide web.
As I sat thinking what I could do to show my love and solidarity with Paris, Sherri created her most meaningful image yet. Isn't it funny how she not only knew the hurt everyone was feeling, but was able to express it in a drawing for me to share. When I saw that this image was free to everyone that wanted it, I just knew that I was a part of the most wonderful group of people in the entire world, lead by the most compassionate, giving and caring lady that I have met in a very long time.
I took that image, and all the love in my heart, and I created a paper treasure that I am so proud to share with everyone who will see it.
I have taken photos of my creation to share here:

As I created this Gate Fold Easel Card a scripture kept playing over and over in my head.
"As I Have Loved You, Love One Another" John 13:34. Over and over those words came to my head and filled my heart.
That, my friends, is the answer. We must love one another as our Lord has loved us. We must stand together and declare that terrorism of any kind, violence of any kind will NOT be tolerated or accepted.
Peace like Charity begins at HOME. We must teach our loved ones to love without judgement and prejudice. We must teach them right from wrong as soon as they are able to understand "yes" and "no".
I don't want to see anymore innocent blood shed or anymore tears shed for innocent loved ones.
I won't take up any more of your time. Thank you for visiting my blog post. Thank you for blessing my life with your kind words and sweet spirits.
As we get ready to celebrate Thanksgiving, may we remember those that are less fortunate than ourselves. Reach out and touch a family in need.
We are such a blessed group of people...let's also be a blessing to others.
Thank you Sherri and the entire Bestie Team from all over the world, for taking the time to create paper treasures that touch others lives.
I am so blessed to be in your company.
Until next time friends...
Be blessed...

"Fight Like A Girl" Raising Breast Cancer Awareness With Tons Of Cuteness!

"Fight Like A Girl"

Raising Breast Cancer Awareness With Tons Of Cuteness!

The toughest words you will ever hear in your life are "you have cancer". They hit you like a ton of bricks, leaving you scared, confused, anxious, and very fearful. You may hear words like "We'll get through this together" or the really horrible thing that most people say, "I'm so sorry" Sorry...Sorry for what?? The last thing a person that has just been diagnosed wants to hear is, "I'm so sorry"...remember to never say those words. Replace those words with worlds like, "cancer won't win" or "I'm gonna love you through it".
When I was first diagnosed with cancer I was 34 years old with three small children who thought I roped the moon. I was their everything. Now I didn't have breast cancer. I was diagnosed with uterine cancer. The feeling is still the same. I promise you that. Fear is fear regardless of the origin. I wanted more than anything for someone, anyone, to tell me that everything is going to be just fine...and I did. The one constant strength in my life, my island in a storm, my calm in the unknown, my everything, my Joseph. He knew the exact words to say.  Later a very clever writer wrote the words that said everything I felt in my heart, everything I needed to hear...I want to share those words with you. But before I do I want to share with you the absolute cuteness that I created to raise breast cancer awareness. Nothing like a precious Bestie/Besties to make anyone smile.
I created an Accordian Mini Album to share with all of you. Here I will post still pictures, and I will share the video that I posted on YouTube.

It was definitely a labor of love. I shared images 014 and 024 with you in this project. Please watch the video...let me know what you think. There you will find links to websites that not only raise awareness for breast cancer, but also help financially, and in so many other ways as well. So please go visit my YouTube channel watch the video and read the description below the video for those websites.

I want to leave you with a video that touched my heart and changed my life. This is how we should address breast cancer...any cancer. With courage, faith, and above all HOPE.

I have taken enough of your time, I just want you all to know that cancer is not a death sentence, when I looked over the edge of the cliff of my life all I could see was a bright light in the night, and the only word I could hear was "FIGHT" and that is just what I did.
Until next time my friends...
Be blessed and be a blessing to to others...

It Has Been Such A Long Time Hasn't It?

It has been such a long time Hasn't it?

I have been away for far too long. I let dust grow on one of the things I loved most about the internet...my blog.

I love sharing my little treasures made of paper, and even some lessons learned from time to time.

Life is all about growing and evolving. I have celebrated great joys since I last wrote, but I have also suffered some tremendous trials. Isn't that what life is all about though?? We must know sorrow to feel joy.

The last time I shared anything on my blog was 2013...Isn't it crazy?? Time just gets away from us. Life happens, things change, and we forget. Not the every day things that we need to do, but the wonderful things that we do for ourselves that make us happy.

So today, September 17, 2015 I bring this blog back to life. This is is going to be good for me.
I want to share myself with all of you that chose to visit and read. I don't know exactly what direction it will go in. There will definitely be tons of paper crafts and other crafty things to share. But, I think maybe I will share other little tidbits of life too...what do you all think? Life lessons...challenges...and triumphs.

I have some exciting news to share with you...

Stay tuned my friends...if you're still out there...

Until then...

Be blessed
