I Must Be Fair...So Let's Try This Again!

I must admit that I made an error in selecting the winner of my Scrappin' Candy Giveaway, and because I wouldn't feel right in my heart, I must fix this.

So let me just say firstly that this was my very first giveaway, and my very first blog hop. Now that you know this you may understand why the error was made.

I went the extra mile to make this Scrappin' Candy Giveaway as fair as possible by first making sure that each person that commented on both of my blog posts also commented on all the other blog hoppers posts as well. Then I took those names and I put them in my Boo's baseball cap, drawing on name at a time, the first name drawn being number 1 and so on. After which I took all those numbers and generated them through Random. org.

The person's number that was chosen was #9 Cathy!! I was so excited to have a winner that I failed to check and see that she was a follower of my blog...which sadly to say she isn't. That was rule #1 for winning this giveaway. So I must apologize to everyone, especially Cathy. Cathy I am sorry publicly for my error. I should have have first checked to see that you followed my blog before posting the initial "Winner" blog. 

So in saying that, I had to chose another winner...which once again I went through the exact same process as before only this time I first looked to make sure that the remaining contestants were followers of my blog.

There Is A Winner For The Scrappin' Candy Giveaway! And The Winner Is...

Hello All...

I bet you all thought that I forget about the Scrappin' Candy Giveaway?? Well I didn't and I couldn't be more happy to announce the winner.

But before I do, I would like to let everyone know that I did this in the fairest way possible. First I wrote down every name of the ladies that commented on my blog. Then I went to each of the other blogs that were involved in the hop to make certain that the ladies that were on my list had also commented on the other hoppers blogs. After coming up with 10 names...pretty wonderful right??? I put the 10 names in my Boo's baseball cap. We drew names, the first person drawn being number 1 and the last being number 10. Then I generated those numbers with Random.org....

I will do my very best to get a hold of Cathy! Cathy if you are reading this, email me your full name and address by Tuesday so that I may get your Scrappin' Candy out in the mail to you!!
